Presentation Creation Guide
Follow these steps to share your passion with the world in English. If you get stuck, this page is here to help!
1. Craft Your Script – Worksheet & AI Brainstorming
Start by organizing your thoughts about your passion with our 5-10 minute worksheet.
You can download the PDF to print or make a digital copy to type your notes.
To further develop your ideas, try brainstorming with an AI assistant like the Artivation Supporter. A good AI chat partner can help draw out your passion and structure your thoughts.
When you're ready to write, feel free to use our Google Docs script template(File → Make a copy). It provides a helpful structure for your presentation.
2. Design Your Slides
Visuals make your presentation more engaging! For a 3-5 minute talk, around 5-7 slides is usually a good number.
You can use our Google Slides Master Template, available here. Just make a copy (File → Make a copy) and customize it with your text and images. It includes title and layout examples to get you started.
Key tips for effective slides:
- One main message per slide.
- Incorporate visuals like photos and diagrams.
- Use large, easy-to-read fonts to reduce viewer strain.
3. Record Your Presentation
Use the FIP Talks dedicated Record page to simultaneously record your camera feed and slides. Export your video with just a few clicks, then upload it to YouTube as "Unlisted."
4. Upload to FIP Talks
Once your video is uploaded to YouTube as "Unlisted," copy the URL and paste it into the FIP Talks Upload page.
Format your title as [Tag] Your Title by Your School/Grade/Name, and fill in the description and script sections. Our system can provide automated translations (e.g. English to Japanese) which will be displayed on your video page for broader accessibility.
Only members of partner schools can view the videos, and comments are AI-moderated for a safe environment!
